Invasive species removal along the Falcon Trail, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM every 2nd Saturday of the month, from September through April.
Join Carrie DeJaco, Lynn Rivera (CTT/CLC Volunteer), and others for a morning of preserve restoration by removing invasive plants including autumn olive, privet, and wisteria. Get a bit of fresh air, a bit of exercise, and do a bit of good for the world. :)
Meeting Location: Pfeiffer University campus, Misenheimer NC.
When you drive down Merner Terrace Rd. off of Hwy 52, the road will curve to the right to go over the creek. You can either park straight ahead, before crossing the creek, or to the left just after crossing the creek.
What to bring/wear: Work gloves, closed-toed shoes, long pants, water bottle
What will be provided: Project direction, tools
