Pollinator Partnership

This large-scale initiative has many different programs to spread awareness of the importance of pollinators and to encourage their protection.

The Million Pollinator Garden Challenge (MPGC)

Put forth by the National Pollinator Garden Network to support President Obama's Executive Strategy to "Promote the Health of Honey Bees and Other Pollinators", this is a nationwide call to action to encourage gardens and landscapes that are beneficial to the health of bees, butterflies, birds, bats and other pollinators across America by making available to them more native and non-invasive pollen- and nectar-producing plants . One of its goals is to provide in a garden or landscape a continuous bloom of flowers that will provide nectar and pollen throughout the growing season.
